Nearly all of the effort that goes into making Sunday Assemblies happen is done by volunteers.

Unlike other mainstream institutions, Sunday Assembly doesn't have centuries of cultural, financial, and societal investment to maintain its momentum. We rely on the profound motivator in many secular people of connection without the oft-required religious basis.

Sunday Assembly in America receives support from qualifying member assemblies and individuals. These funds are used to fund our efforts to:

• Foster connection between local chapters

• Coordinate practical support for assemblies in need

• Organizing system-wide outreach
